Forgive the Spaceballs reference, but I thought of Dark Helmet when I saw this umbrella from Brando.  The Helmet Umbrella is 37″ long, 28.4″ in diameter, and weighs 14 ounces.  It's big enough to keep your shoulders and even a backpack or gear bag dry.  It comes with a carrying sheath and seems to be available only in camouflage for $29.00.
