The HTC Desire 500 first went up for pre-order in the UK a couple of weeks ago. The handset was re-announced by HTC for Europe shortly before that. Thanks to the pre-order listings from back then, we already know that the Desire 500 should cost around £230. But what we haven't had so far was an actual release date for the rather affordable smartphone.
The HTC Desire 500 could become available in the UK on September 6. This is according to Unlocked Mobiles, a well known online retailer of SIM-free devices.
