Hackers Publicly Post 453,000 Hacked Yahoo Account Credentials, Leave A Friendly Note!

Early reports suggest that the service under attack is identified as Yahoo Voices. The published list contained unencrypted plain-text user IDs and passwords of 453,492 accounts. Most of the email addresses also include gmail, aol and other services credentials. Surprisingly, the email address and the passwords for these accounts were stored in plain text in Yahoo servers, and have been published as is on the web. The attack was made possible by using a union-based SQL Injection method.
