Apple pooh poohs at EPEAT certification withdrawal

I guess you can say that part of Apple's DNA as a company would be being different from the rest, doing things their own way, which some might call arrogant. Their latest move might just smack of that, depending on which side of the fence you lean on, where we reported that Apple had removed the EPEAT green certification from its range of products, simply because that they as a company already take a “comprehensive approach” to churning out environmentally-responsible products.
