Samsung - which sold more than 50 million smartphones in the second quarter of the year - will be among the first manufacturers to launch Windows Phone 8 handsets. We've already heard about the SGH-i687, which is a WP8 device that's seemingly headed to AT&T. And now The Verge has details on two other upcoming WP8 handsets from Samsung. Codenamed Odyssey and Marco, both devices are powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processors, and have LTE and HSPA connectivity.
The Samsung Odyssey is presented as an "iconic smartphone." It features a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display, NFC, 8MP rear camera, and a 2MP front-facing camera.
