BMW recalls 1.3 million cars from the 5 - and 6-series range

BMW is certainly one of the German marques that have made quite the impression on folks worldwide, having tied up with James Bond during the Pierce Brosnan era, and also delivering sleek, desirable machines for yuppies worldwide. However, this does not mean that BMW is free from its fair share of mistakes – case in point, BMW AG recalling 1.3 million vehicles from 2003 to 2010 model years under the banner of 5 Series and 6 Series cars. According to BMW, there is a remote possibility of a battery cable covering in the trunk being installed incorrectly, and as a result of that, it might prevent the car from starting.
