Callaway announces 570-hp version of Chevy SS

With the influx of all the new products from Chevrolet this year, Callaway has its hands full trying to keep up. As much as we hope the Callaway Corvette Aerowagon becomes a reality, there's a big soft spot in our hearts for go-fast sedans that's eagerly anticipating the tuner's latest creation, the Callaway SS. After going to work on the 2014 Chevy SS, Callaway is hoping to get an estimated 570 horsepower and 535 pound-feet of torque from the sedan's 6.2-liter LS3 V8. That added power, Callaway says, should be enough to shoot from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and tackle the quarter-mile in around 12.4 seconds.
