Microsoft may be absent in this year's CES, but that does not mean the company would not make its presence felt in Las Vegas. Panos Panay, Microsoft's general manager for Surface products, has been holding meetings in the Sin City with members of the press. With him is his company's upcoming device–a Surface tablet that runs on Windows 8 Pro. The tablet, dubbed as Microsoft Surface Pro, is a step up from the Surface RT when it comes to screen clarity with the resolution tipping in at HD-quality 1080p.
