Acer of Taiwan has just announced that they will be making a splash in the smartphone market before the year is over, although they will rely on a chipset that hails from Intel in order to further expand their partnership in the fast-growing market. Not only that, Acer has plans to pre-install their very own cloud service on the new smartphone model, according to Peter Shieh, vice president of Acer's corporate account business division in Taiwan. This was shared while they launched the new Acer S500 handset.
