We told you a couple of days ago that Samsung is about to report they shipped over 40 million smartphones in Q1 2012. Now we have confirmation from a few new places, that this indeed may be the case. And that even a pie in the sky 50 million Samsung smartphone shipments for Q2 2012 projection –  may be true. A respectable source is telling us  that channel partners have already pre-ordered 10 million Galaxy S3s from Samsung.
