HTC's survey claims that customers prefer thinner phones over thicker phones with longer battery life

While HTC's phones are by no means "chunky", this year's One series of Android phones seems to be thinner than usual with both the One X and One S measuring under 9mm thin (8.9mm and 7.8mm respectively). Ever wondered why is that. Well apparently the reason for their phones being exceptionally thinner this year is thanks to a survey HTC conducted in 2011. . The survey essentially asked customers if they would prefer a thinner device over those that comprised on a thin form factor in favor of a larger battery.
