Project Phenix brings DRM to a new level

Project Phenix brings DRM to a new level

Fox, Warner, SanDisk and Western Digital have come together to promote Digital Rights Management (DRM) to a new level, where this online cloud backup solution that caters for movies which is known as Project Phenix (not a typo) will enable one to back up movies onto a range of portable storage devices, where they can range from SD memory cards to portable hard drives, seeing action on notebooks, tablets and smartphones later on. Developed by the Secure Content Storage Association, Project Phenix will feature technology that is compatible with UltraViolet, the Hollywood-backed solution that allows one to license movies in the cloud.

Ubergizmo, Project Phenix brings DRM to a new level
