Lemote Yeeloong 8101_B And 8089_B Linux-powered Netbooks

Lemote China has unveiled the 10.1-inch Yeeloong 8101_B and 8.9-inch Yeeloong 8089_B netbooks. Powered by the Loongson 2F China-made processor and GNU/Linux OS, both low-end netbooks come jam packed with a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard disk drive, Wi-Fi, a 0.3MP webcam, three USB ports, a VGA out, a memory card slot and a 3-cell battery. In case you didn't know, the Loongson 2F is a 64-bit compatible processor that runs at between 800Mhz and 900MHz clock speeds. This CPU also features a built-in video controller. The 10.1-inch Yeeloong 8101_B retails for $399, while the 8.9-inch Yeeloong 8089_B is priced at $299.
