Dual core Nook Tablet with Android Gingerbread announced

Barnes & Noble has just unveiled its latest tablet / e-reader – the Nook Tablet, which comes as a successor to the Nook Color (released last year). The Nook Tablet runs Android Gingerbread, and is presented as "the company's fastest and lightest tablet with the best in HD entertainment." It looks pretty much like the older Nook Color, but brings new / enhanced features, such as: a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, better 7 inch display ("the world's most advanced VividView display"), and a battery capable of providing 11.5 hours of reading time, or 9 hours of video viewing.
