Android 4.0.4 update reportedly rolling out to some Verizon Galaxy Nexus owners now

It was just yesterday that we reported that Verizon could be rolling out the highly-anticipated Android 4.0.4 update to the Galaxy Nexus soon, although in all honesty we didn't think it'd be this soon. It seems that there have been reports of several Galaxy Nexus owners who have started to receive the update. Now it appears that the update is being rolled out in small batches, so if you have yet to receive the notification reminding you to update, fret not as we're sure that it will eventually get around to you.

Aquabotix HydroView beams back high definition video

Now here is a robot that you can pilot remotely, having it plumb the depths while beaming back a video to the surface in high definition glory. It is touted to be affordable at $3,995 a pop, where you can control this particular underwater robot wirelessly thanks to an iOS-powered device, smartphone, or just about any other notebook. Videos are captured in Full HD, and stills can also be taken, where the Aquabotix HydroView is controlled simply through the tilting of your device (if it has a built-in accelerometer), while speed and video commands are dispensed through the touchscreen display.

Razer outs Battlefield 3 aviator headsets

Amazon Instant Video streaming is now live on the Xbox 360

If Amazon's video store is going to compete with the other online sources like Hulu and Netflix, getting on as many platforms as possible is key and it made a major expansion today by launching on the Xbox 360. The app launched on the PS3 back in April, and just like that version, this one includes access to Amazon's video on-demand and Prime all-you-can-eat subscription based streaming. Unique to the Xbox 360 app is support for the console's Kinect peripheral and its ability to recognize control by gesture or voice, plus a brand new feature for Amazon — a queue.
