Whenever we take a group photo, it's always a pain to have to go and email a copy to everyone afterwards. Good thing Samsung's rolled out a new buddy photo share feature on its new Galaxy S III to save us those precious post-photo seconds. It works using facial recognition tech to identify each of your subjects, then shoots the picture to them automatically via email or text message.

People who browse religious websites are more likely to have their computers infected with a virus than those who visit pornographic websites, according to Symantec's annual “Internet Security Threat Report.” The firm found that websites with religious or ideological themes had triple the average number of threats than those featuring adult content. "It is interesting to note that websites hosting adult/pornographic content are not in the top five, but ranked tenth," Symantec said.

Well, Apple's reign atop the list of the world's top PC makers was short lived. After clawing its way into the lead, if you counted the iPad as a PC, HP is back atop the heap — even with Cupertino's tablet-inflated numbers. According to Canalys, the Palo Alto company shipped 15.8 million units in the first quarter of 2012, barely sneaking passed Apple by 40,000 computers. Of course, remove Apple's 11.8 million iPads, and it's not even a competition. Lenovo, Acer and Dell rounded out the top five, with the total market shooting up 21 percent over the same time last year.

So you've procured yourself HTC's new super slim, 4.7-inch halo phone: the One X. By now, you probably have the device set up just the way you like it: applications configured, widgets in place and Adele ringtone set. But there's just something else left to do, isn't there. If (like some of us) you're a smartphone user who just can't leave well enough alone, you'll be excited to learn that a build of Cyanogenmod 9 for the Uno Equis has been made available via the MoDaCo forums. The ROM will deliver that stock Android experience, and all those CM9 accoutrements, to those that don't fancy the panache of Sense 4.0.

Valve has no new announcements planned for E3

E3 is the time of the year where the gaming industry comes together to announce new games, hardware, services, provide players with playable betas and basically demonstrate new technology. Consoles and games have been announced at the event in the past, so it we guess many gamers were hoping that Valve could be taking the wraps off a new game at the event. Unfortunately that will not be the case. The company has confirmed with the folks over at IGN that they will not be making any new announcements at E3 this year.
This will probably dash the hopes of gamers who might have been looking forward to the rumored Half-Life 3.

The high end edition of LG's new L-Style Optimus line is ready to roll, as the company announced the Optimus L7 is available in various "major" European and Asian locales. In case it's been forgotten in the midst of its fellow L-branded smartphones like the L3 that launched in March, the L7 is an Android 4.0 handset with a 4.3-inch screen and 8.7mm-thick frame.
