Samsung Galaxy S Advance to hit Vodafone UK on April 30

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance, announced in January and available unlocked since February, will be making its UK carrier debut next week. While not as enticing as the Galaxy S3 announcement that will shortly follow its release, the Galaxy S Advance features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 1GHz dual-core CPU, and Android 2.3. The phone also sports a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera, 768MB RAM, and 8 or 16GB storage options. Chrysler sales explode in California, up 222%

Chrysler sales explode in California, up 222%

Auto sales in California are red hot right now. The Detroit News reports that sales of new vehicles are up 17.7 percent in 2012, outpacing overall U.S. growth, which sits at a still healthy 13.3 percent. And since gas prices are still extremely high, cars accounted for a reported 62.7 percent of sales, while SUVs dropped to only 24.4 percent.
The car versus-SUV-paradigm isn't all that surprising given the price of petrol, but what is surprising is the brand that has received the biggest sales increase on a percentage basis.

Man offers to legally change name for a ticket to Apple's WWDC

. Apple announced on Wednesday that its annual Worldwide Developer Conference will take place from June 11th through June 15th this year in San Francisco, California. The company made tickets available at around 8:30 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, and they were sold out within two hours, likely before most West Coast-based developers even woke up. Tickets are not transferable this year and as such, developers who didn't manage to secure a ticket don't have many options. One man, however, found a way around Apple's restrictions.

An anonymous developer on Wednesday posted a want ad on Craigslist.
