Sprint lights up LTE in four new markets

. Sprint (S) on Wednesday announced the expansion of both its 3G and 4G LTE networks. The company's high-speed LTE network is now available in Baltimore, Md., Gainesville, Ga., Manhattan/Junction City, Kan., and Sedalia, Mo. In addition, locations in Baltimore, Boston and Washington, D.C will have now have access to Sprint's “all-new 3G service,” which the company claims will deliver better in-building coverage and fewer dropped calls. "Our customers are enjoying new applications and devices that increase the demand for mobile data," said Bob Azzi, senior vice president of Sprint.
